    Dave,

Thanks for the heads-up. Only the ‘sixteenth’ part was the same. The rest included the right info for this week’s show. I fixed it a few moments ago but it will likely take a few hours before iTunes notices.

Good Morning (or it would be if it wasn’t chucking it down here in England)

I’m posting a comment here as I couldn’t find an email address to send this to.

I have a couple of tips for you which might be of interest.

First up is to do with the perennial problem of drivers not giving cyclists room. I live in West Yorkshire but work in Staffordshire, which necessitates me staying away from home 4 nights a week. As there is close to nothing to do down here I bring my bike and go for a ride (I am doing a charity ride in October and need to be sure I can manage 50 miles on road before then). Part of my usual route takes me along a pretty busy road, the A444. Upto now I have been “buzzed” by numerous vehicles, cars, white van man and, on one occasion, a Latvian truck driver. however I have now found a cheap, simple, safe, and legal way to effectively get them to give you more room. On the last couple of rides I have had one of the small flashing LED lights affixed to my seat pack, and switched on (these are legal now in the UK). Lo and behold 95%+ of the vehicles that passed me gave me a wide berth (as opposed to

I just have a short comment about doping…yea yea who doesn’t. It is (the system) in a sad state when someone can be accused of anything and they are guilty…..they can go through the process and still be guilty, all because they did not admit to it. Hopefully the process being brought out to the public will force them to revamp the system.

I am not sure if you guys have used this tip but it has helped me a many a time….a dollar and a tire boot…I actually use Park Tools tire boots now but when I slice a tire a dollar bill will work as a great barrier to cover the slice….

Nutrition is always an overlooked and underestimated tip….pointed out by Tim I believe…..

Thanks guys..I like to listen and I do respond to most of your comments even if you don’t hear me.

Will be possible for us to NOT talk about doping in cycling, ever again?

    What a crappy week.
