Great discussion on direct to consumer bikes. Also interesting to hear about the year to year decline in sales. I would suggest the sales are there, but in the secondary market. I have wonderful bikes that were all purchased through my favorite social media buy and sell site. I shop my bikes as a hobby and am a price point shopper. But, that has led to two (2) carbon frame road bikes and a great dual suspension mountain bike. What is interesting is that of these three bikes, two were new (less than 100 miles on each). It’s almost too good to be true. At my level of casual riding, it’s the best solution.

Hey Carlton, in California, at least, side-by-side riding is not legal, although we are allowed to take the whole lane when it’s not wide enough for cars to pass safely. Those videos are great!

Are you sure? I thought there wasn’t an explicit statewide prohibition, but that two abreast cycling can be regulated by local ordinance.

State law in Utah, does explicitly approve two abreast cycling, although there are exceptions.
